We Welcome You to our 29th Incredible Season!

The 2019 Season offers a wide variety of musical genres including Broadway/Cabaret, Jazz/Blues, Rock, Bluegrass/Americana and, of course, classical. Three of the nine shows feature exciting talent that has never appeared with us before and six of the shows feature select favorites enjoying a return visit including the Amazing Marilyn Maye! The Christmas Show, as always, is unique to Brownville - you hear it here first. Every year we reach beyond our own borders to other parts of the world to find special talent - this year it is Russia with the return of the Rastrelli Cello Quartet.

The Brownville Concert Series is not just another community concert series featuring local talent and touring artists - it is very intentionally the best of the best! We are proud of the standard we insist upon regarding who and what is presented on our stage. Come see, hear, and thrill to the magic of live music in Brownville.

In 2018, we lost our Founder and long-time Chairman, James H. Keene, III. The Brownville Concert Series was his vision, his creation and his legacy. All of Brownville owes him a debt of thanks. How fitting that he had just attended the 28th New York Cabaret Convention (which is the same age we are) and just went to the Opera.

Memorials are suggested by the family to Opera Omaha or Brownville Concert Series.  As Jim would say, “the show must go on!”

Thank you to the Omaha Home Magazine for featuring Brownville and the Brownville Concert Series in their May/June 2015 issue. Click here and turn to page 29 to read more!

We are thrilled to be featured in an article by Todd Murray in Cabaret Scenes Magazine July/August 2014!  Almost every page contains pictures, mentions, and articles on many performers you have seen here in Brownville.  You would feel right at home in New York with all of our special Brownville friends there.  Click here to read excerpts from this issue of Cabaret Scenes.
